Offchain Labs rolled its Arbitrum One optimistic rollup out to the general public after a developers-only beta that began in May, and announced a $120M Series B at a $1.2B valuation on the same day. The staggered launch eventually scaled into Ethereum's largest L2 by total value locked, helping cement the rollup-centric roadmap that everyone now insists was the plan all along.
